Cigarettes have become a part of today's youth. The dependence on smoking is caused by nicotine. Long-term effects can lead to health problems such as asthma and cancer. The prevalence of smoking among teenagers is increasing. 62.8 million people smoke worldwide, with Indonesia contributing 7.4% in 2023. 9 out of 10 teenagers in Panumbangan are active smokers. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of applying SEFT Therapy in families with adolescent active smokers who have health risk problems in the work area of the Panumbangan Health Center. Method: Managing 1 case with a comprehensive nursing care method conducted over 3 sessions based on Evidence-Based Practice with the application of SEFT therapy. Results Evaluation after implementing nursing care three times shows a significant effect in reducing smoking behavior in Mr. R from level 7 to level 2.
