SUPPORT SYSTEM KELUARGA PADA PASIEN DENGAN PENYAKIT TUBERKULOSIS (TB) DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS CIAMIS

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria from the mycobacterium group, namely mycobacterium tuberculosis. There are several species of mycobacterium, namely: M. Tuberculosis, M. Africanum, M. Bovis, and M. Lepra, where this type of bacteria is better known as acid-resistant bacteria (BTA). Mycobacterium tuberculosis is transmitted through splashes of phlegm called droplet nuclei produced by pulmonary TB patients when coughing, sneezing or talking. Family support is an attitude, an act of family acceptance towards family members, in the form of informational support, assessment support, instrumental support and emotional support. Objective: To find out what the Family Support System is for Patients with Tuberculosis (TB) in the UPTD Working Area of the Ciamis Health Center. Method: This research uses a quantitative descriptive method, the population in this research is 30 TB patients in the UPTD Working Area of the Ciamis Health Center, the sample in this research is 30. Results: The Family Support System for Patients with TB Disease in the Ciamis Health Center UPTD Working Area was in the good category as many as 30 people with a percentage of 100%. Conclusion : So it can be concluded that the family support system for patients with Tuberculosis (TB) in the UPTD Working Area of the Ciamis Health Center is in the good category.
